| Mission Statement The Union Training Committee (UTC) is committed to ensuring NetJets training and education programs contribute to the industry-leading level of safety that protects NJASAP crewmembers as well as our loyal customers. |

| Principal Objectives |

Establish and maintain a vigorous, proactive committee that maintains the membership and company's respect. |

Establish and maintain a positive, relevant dialogue with the NJA Director of Training and his or her subordinates to ensure the Union's position on various training issues is appropriately represented. The UTS seeks to positively impact all NetJets training courses including: Company Recurrent, Initial Aircraft Type, Aircraft Recurrent Simulator, Aircraft, Upgrade, and Union-approved home and/or self-study courses. |

Establish and maintain informative New Hire Initial Orientation and crewmember continuing education programs to ensure Union members their rights under the Railway Labor Act, the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and other relevant laws and regulations. |

| UTC Responsibilities |
  |
The UTC Chairman, as co-chair of the Joint Training Committee, meets with his company counterpart as stipulated by CBA Section 17. |

The UTC serves as a quality-control monitor of pilots who apply for TR, IP-S, IP, CA-L and CA in accordance with CBA Section 6 |

The UTC initiates and conducts performance reviews of TR, IP-S, IP, CA-L, and CA in accordance with CBA Section 6. |

The UTC works with crewmembers who fail to meet training performance standards to ensure he or she receives the additional training that provides the maximum opportunity to succeed. |

The UTC serves as the primary Union advisor for all NJA training- and flight standards-related issues. |

Joint Initiatives The UTC works as an advisory group to NetJets, looking after the best interests of the pilot group, as a collective, on issues regarding training, standards, and standardization. Currently, the UTC is assisting in the redesign of numerous NJA training programs. Due to the enormity and importance of the current redesign effort, numerous UTC members are currently spending their tours on “office duty” in CMH to temporarily supplement the Director of Training and his staff in that process |
